Economic Development is State Budget Priority

The Governor's proposed budget directs significant resources to jobs and economic development initiatives.  In the current year, it adds $34 million for business headquarters relocation assistance and $50 million for Fast Track infrastructure and job training assistance. For fiscal year 2012-13, it adds $20 million for the Jobs4TN program ($10 million recurring and $10 million non-recurring).
